Soak Removal

How to Remove Your Diyar Nails

This method removes your press-on nails without using the remover. While soaking can help loosen the adhesive, we generally recommend using the Diyar nail remover included in your kit for the easiest and most controlled removal.

You may also combine both methods by soaking your nails and applying the remover if needed.

Take your time during removal and never force a press-on nail off.

Step 1: Prepare the soaking bowl

Fill a bowl with warm water and add a small amount of gentle soap along with a few drops of oil.

This mixture helps the water penetrate around the edges of the press-on nails and gradually soften the adhesive.

Step 2: Soak your nails

Place your fingertips in the bowl and allow them to soak for 10–15 minutes.

During this time, the adhesive will begin to loosen as the water slowly penetrates around the edges of the nails.

Step 3: Gently begin loosening the nails

After soaking, use the cuticle stick included in your kit to gently lift the edges of the press-on nail.

Work slowly around the sides of the nail rather than pulling from one side.

If the nail does not lift easily, place your fingers back into the warm water and allow them to soak for a few more minutes.

Never force a press-on nail off.

Step 4: Remove the press-on nails

Once the adhesive has softened, gently slide the press-on nail away from the natural nail.

Continue the same process for each finger, soaking again if necessary.

Gentle removal helps protect your natural nails and may allow the press-ons to be reused.

Step 5: Clean your natural nails

After removing the nails, use the buffer included in your kit to gently remove any remaining glue residue from the surface of your natural nails.

Buff lightly until the nail surface feels smooth, then wash your hands to remove any remaining residue.

Your nails are now clean and ready for your next Diyar set.
